Guest Profile: Diana Clark
Author and illustrator of the children's book, "Clearwater Girl". Diana was born in Alabama and grew up in Texas. She now lives in Bellevue, Washington with her daughter. Graduated from the Art Institute of Seattle, she has been a free-lance artist for over three decades. Inspired by her travels, she is interested in foreign culture, music, art, and language. An animal lover at heart, Diana is an avid horsewoman. She is concerned about animal welfare and protection and the ecology of our planet.Her newest, yet to be published, trilogy is entitled "The Stone Ones"
Book Description
Clearwater Girl, is a young Native American who has a blonde streak in her hair, which she dislikes because it makes her feel different. She trys to cover up the streak unsuccessfully, but with the support of her family, she learns to accept and celebrate her differences and ultimately finds contentment with herself.
